Susie's Cook Book 1970s PA Dutch Family Recipes Clemens Hatfield Packing History

A rare vintage family spiral-bound cookbook: Susie's Cook Book, compiled by the family of John C. and Susie S. Clement Clemens of Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Susie (1881–1933) and John (1879–1959) raised 14 children while building what began as Pleasant Valley Packing Company. Their work eventually grew into Clemens Market and later became the birthplace of the modern Hatfield Packing Company.

This cookbook preserves Pennsylvania Dutch traditions and includes some of Susie's own recipes along with contributions from her descendants. Inside are well-loved recipes with handwritten notations, adding to its authenticity and charm.
