This is a vintage 1st Generation, 2 1/2 Quart Corning Ware casserole dish. It is in like new condition, with no visible dings, cracks, or markings. The lid is not included unfortunately, but replacements can be ordered online very easily.
Newer, post 1960s dishes have the stamp, 'For Range & Microwave'. But since this generation of dishes were made before Microwaves were invented, they do not have that stamp, plus the material was not good for microwave use.
This was also made before they copyrighted the term Corning Ware, so only the word Corning was copyrighted as you can see in the pic, since that was the name of the city in which they were made in New York.
