Vintage Sterling bird brooch with heavily detailed enameling. Measures 1 3/4” x 1 6/16”. Weight: 5.44 grams. Marked JF 925 Sterling Mexico with marking for Mexico City. Jeronimo Fuentes was trained by William Spratling and was the lead enameler for Margot de Taxco. He opened his own studio in 1961 where he made detailed Guilloche enamel pieces such as this.
